    • Quick and easy dessert - on the table in just five minutes!
    • Nostalgic Fruity Pebbles cereal flavor.
    • Great for kids and grown-up kids too!

    Ingredients

Ingredients: Fruity Pebbles ice cream, Fruity Pebbles cereal and milk.

Fruity Pebbles cereal: Original Fruity Pebbles works best in the recipe, no need for the marshmallow or any of the other versions.

Fruity Pebbles ice cream: for a quick and easy option use store-bought or pump up the Fruity Pebbles flavor with my homemade Fruity Pebbles ice cream.

Milk: I use full-fat milk for maximum flavor, but you could use your milk of choice.

    Optional decorations:

Whipped cream:  some whipped cream adds extra yum. Make your own or use ready-made.

Extra Fruity Pebbles cereal: to sprinkle on top and bring the crunch and color to this milkshake!

How to make Fruity Pebbles milkshake

See the full recipe card at the end of the post for ingredient amounts and instructions.

Hot tip: chill the glass in the freezer for about thirty minutes. This will help keep your milkshake frosty cold for longer, especially on a hot day!

If using homemade whipped cream, whip the cream until firm peaks form and transfer to a piping bag.

Process shots: adding milk, Fruity Pebbles ice cream and Fruity Pebbles to a deep jug. Blending with and immersion blender till smooth.

Add the milk, Fruity Pebbles ice cream and Fruity Pebbles to tall sided jug you can use an immersion/stick blender in, or a blender. Blend until smooth and well-mixed.

    How to serve

    Serving Fruity Pebbles milkshake

To serve this Fruity Pebbles cereal mikshkae pour it into the chilled glass. Add a swirl of whipped cream and dust with extra Fruity Pebbles cereal and you're done!

    How to store

This milkshake is best served immediately after making. The Fruity Pebble pieces in particular will start to settle within a few minutes of blending. If you are still drinking it when this happens just give it a gentle stir then keep on drinking!

Tips for success and frequently asked questions

Can I make this into a protein shake?

You sure can. To make Fruity Pebbles protein shake simply add a scoop of your favorite protein powder when blending. I recommend blending in the protein powder first, then adding the rest of the ingredients as protein powder can be a little hard to incorporate otherwise, and you don't want to overblend the rest of your shake.

Can I make this with different milk?

Yes you can substitute the full cream milk with different milk but be aware this may affect the taste of your milkshake.

Can I make this with a different flavor of ice cream?

You sure can. If you can't get Fruity Pebbles ice cream you can replace it with something simple like vanilla ice cream. You may want to add some extra Fruity Pebbles if you do this to pump up the flavor.

You could experiment with other ice cream flavors but you will be able to taste this in your milkshake. If you do add a different strongly flavored ice cream this may overwhelm the Fruity Pebbles flavor.

My milkshake has settled into layers quickly after blending.

Yup that's the blended Fruity Pebbles pieces settling. Try blending your milkshake well as the smaller pieces will take longer to settle.

Alternatively simply give your milkshake a gentle stir when it settles, this will mix in the layers, and continue drinking away!
