Get your Biscoff fix with this easy 3 ingredient Biscoff sauce. It's the perfect way to add buttery, caramel Biscoff flavor to your favorite desserts. If you ever found yourself eating Biscoff straight from the jar with a spoon (guilty! no judgment here) and thought to yourself, well this is delicious but what I really want is a big bowl of vanilla ice cream smothered with Biscoff. But it's too thick, boo! This Biscoff topping is the solution. Quick, easy and you probably have everything you need to make it right now. You can whip this baby up before that bowl of ice cream melts.

    Why you'll love this recipe

    • Irresistible Biscoff Flavor: All the toasted, caramel goodness of your favorite cookie butter in a smooth, pourable sauce that won't seize up.
    • Versatile Dessert Topping: It's the ultimate upgrade for vanilla ice cream, no-bake cheesecakes, or even Sunday morning pancakes. (Or just lick it off the spoon, yum!)
    • Quick & Foolproof: With only three simple ingredients and about five minutes of effort, you can whip this up whenever a craving hits.

Hungry for more Biscoff desserts? Why not try making my beautiful Biscoff cake with Biscoff buttercream, individual Biscoff Cheesecake sticks, sweet and salty Biscoff rocky road or creamy Biscoff ice cream. Delicious!

    Ingredients

Biscoff sauce ingredients: lemon, Biscoff spread, milk.

Lotus Biscoff spread: smooth will give you the most pourable sauce but you can try mixing things up with crunch if you prefer:

Milk: a little milk helps thin the sauce down to a pourable consistency. Full-fat will taste best. Or place it with your fav. plant-based milk for a dairy-free alternative (keep in mind you maybe able to taste whatever milk you use in your sauce).

Lemon juice: yes lemon juice. A dash helps dial down the sweetness, especially when drizzling it over other sweet desserts such as ice cream or cheesecake. As always, fresh is best.

    How to make Biscoff sauce

See the full recipe card at the end of the post for ingredient amounts and instructions.

Slice and juice the lemon. Put your milk into a microwave-proof container and gently warm it in the microwave. Add the Biscoff topping.

Process shots: juicing lemon, adding Biscoff spread to milk, whisking, adding lemon juice.

Mix in the Biscoff spread until smooth. Add the lemon juice. Mix well and you're done! Eat it straight away warm, or let it cool to eat on chilled desserts.

Hot tip: a whisk really is your best friend for mixing here. It helps you get a lovely smooth, lump free sauce with less elbow grease, win win!

    How to serve

Top down view of Biscoff topping in a serving bowl with a spoon in it, with Biscoff cookies and a jar of Biscoff spread on the side.

To serve this simple Biscoff sauce drizzle it over your favourite dessert, be it a scoop of easy vanilla ice cream, coat cheesecake sticks in it or on a stack of steaming piklets (mini pancakes) for breakfast. Delicious!

    How to store

In the fridge: for upto five days in a covered container.

Tips for success and frequently asked questions

Can I use a different brand of speculoos spread?

In theory yes, just swap it for your favorite brand. There are lots of alternatives out there and I haven't had a chance to test them all. We just buy Biscoff in our house 🙂 (not sponsored!).

Can I make a diary-free or vegan version of this?

You sure can. Believe it or not Biscoff spread itself is naturally vegan. Simply replace the dairy milk with your prefered plant based alternative.

    My sauce isn't pouring

Temperature plays a big part in how pourable this sauce is, so it might be too cold. Try gently warming the sauce or adding a dash of milk to thin it out until it reaches your preferred pourability.

    My sauce has split, help!

Yup, that can happen if it gets overheated. Don't panic! Let it cool down and give it a good stir, and it should come back together.
