No churn Nutella ice cream

This no churn Nutella ice cream has only four ingredients and does not need an ice cream maker. Easy and super tasty.

Equipment

  • hand mixer or beater
  • Freezable container

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Nutella *you can replace with your chocolate spread of choice
  • 1 tub (250gms) Cream cheese
  • 2 cups (500ml) thickened cream
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  • Leave cream cheese on bench for five minutes to soften
  • In a large bowl beat cream and pinch of salt until soft peaks form
  • In a seperate bowl add softened cream cheese and beat until softened and broken up.
  • Add Nutella and beat in well
  • Add Nutella and cream cheese mix into cream cheese one third at a time, mixing in well in between.
  • Scrape into a freezable container and smooth down
  • Freeze overnight or until firm
  • Remove from freezer five minutes before serving to soften. Scoop and enjoy!

Notes

To make this nut free replace the Nutella with your chocolate spread of choice, just make sure its soft enough to mix in and adjust the quantity as needed.
